Borland Groover is one of the largest gastroenterology practices in Florida and has been serving the digestive health needs of patients since 1947. After initially helping the clinic evaluate and adjust their marketing strategy and positioning in the North Florida market, we launched a colonoscopy awareness campaign that delivered a year-over-year increase of 24%, and then helped them introduce a new, fresher brand and website as they celebrated their 75th anniversary. When Borland Groover asked us to create some colon cancer awareness posters for Jacksonville's annual Cowford Ball, a Western-themed gala that raises funds to fight cancer, we saddled up and developed these cheeky spins on classic cowboy imagery...
As a sponsor of the famed Florida Theatre, Borland Groover was given the chance to promote their digestive health services in, fittingly enough, the venue's restrooms. Recognizing that most people at the Florida Theatre are there to have a good time watching their favorite band play, we married the unlikely location with a little unexpected humor to deliver the Borland Groover message.
Helping launch UF Health Proton Therapy Institute meant doing a lot more than just designing a logo. Shepherd created the brand and positioning, explained the proton story and developed a digitized marketing strategy that helped their team overcome the absence of a built-in physician referral base.
Now, more than 10 years later, we are still partnering with the brand to develop campaigns in a market that has seen the addition of multiple, competing proton therapy centers in the region. Despite the increased competition, our use of insight-driven, multi-channel marketing helped increase patient registration by 22% during the 2016-2017 fiscal year.
